Stories… everybody loves them. From the time our mamas first read to us… to Jesus’ parables… to the storyline in a favorite book or movie, stories instruct us, entertain us,  move us and shape us.

God’s Story began before the creation of the universe and will continue until the sunset of this world. True love and infidelity, despair and hope, miracles and the common day; all of these and more make up the plot in God’s Story.

So…who are YOU in the Story’s cast of characters? What special attributes do YOU bring to your part? Where and how do YOU fit into His present and eternal plotline?

Please plan to join the Walking Stick staff, old friends and new participants April 29th-May 1st at Country Lake Christian Retreat Center in Underwood Kentucky (near Louisville) as we delve into The Story. Your Story. His Story.

Join us for a weekend to disconnect from the world. From the beautiful hotel-style rooms to the spacious rocking chair porch;  you are sure to find a place and a space where you can be still and draw close to God and others in a personal and private way that will usher you into His presence.

There will be worship, small groups, challenging interactive teaching and both time to reflect and time to experience community. It will be a weekend to remember.
