2020…wow, WHAT a year! Between Covid-19, quarantines, political upheaval, job insecurity and societal unrest, its been a time of isolation, “new normals” and for many, a time of re-evaluation of our lives, our relationships and our commitments.
And so, as we are starting the winddown of this year like no other, the Walking Stick team has a question for you: Are you livin’ on PURPOSE?
Vocabulary.com has this to say about PURPOSE: When you do something WITH purpose, you do it with determination. When your activities HAVE a purpose, you have an aim or intention in mind. This noun also has a third meaning, that of function, role or use.
Join us for our fall retreat November 6-8 at beautiful Camp Mantowagan in Saxton, Pennsylvania, where through the use of interactive teaching, small groups, worship and times of reflection we will help you grapple with these questions and more:
In what ways am I livin’ on purpose? How am I not?
How can I live a more purposeful, authentic Christian walk?
What are the activities, beliefs and relationships that give my life purpose?
As I look at my life, what is my unique, God-given purpose?
