At the previous retreat, we explored the concept of being “Fully Alive - Finding Your Place As An Image Bearer of God.” This September, the Walking Stick team invites attendees, both returning and new, to Eagle Eyrie Conference Center,  Lynchburg, Virginia to continue discussing the theme of Fully Alive, with a focus on community as "Fully Alive...Together."

Andrew Peterson said, “Community looks you in the eye and reminds you who you are in Christ... They reiterate your calling when you forget what it is.” How do we LIVE that? How do we call that out in others?

​

Through interactive teaching, small group discussions, and periods of reflection and worship, we will learn how to actively listen to others' storylines, explore deeper aspects beyond surface-level interactions, and learn the difference between providing support and enabling unhealthy choices. We will also learn to follow the Holy Spirit's guidance and use tools to foster an emotionally and spiritually safe community for everyone.

Yep, all this and more in just 2 ½ days! Come prepared to work and listen, grow and stretch, laugh and play and experience the Spirit in our midst at Fully Alive…Together.​​
